  • Natural Shea Butter
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • Natural Cocoa Butter
  • A Fresh Coconut or can of Coconut Milk
  • Coconut Oil
  • Rosemary
  • Jojoba Oil
 


My Coconut Soy Deep Conditioner



    INGREDIENTS NEEDED:



  • 1/4 Cup of Coconut Milk
  • Shea Butter( as much or as little as you like)
  • 1 Large Egg (Yolk Only)
  • 1/4 Cup of All Natural Organic SoyMilk
  • Cocoa Butter (as much or as little as you like)
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil
Mixing

  • To start: I take the Shea Butter and Cocoa Butter and melt them down in a medium spot on low heat.
  • Once melted, remove from stove, let cool for about 2 minutes
  • I then add the Soy Milk and Coconut Milk
  • i mix together lightly
  • In a small bowl I whip the egg yolk ,and olive oil
  • I then add this mixture to the Coconut Soy Milk  mixture
  • whisk mixture until its a thick creamy consistency
  • Use Immediately or Transfer to a container and store in fridge ( good for 2 weeks)
To use as a deep conditioner:

  • Saturate your hair in the mixture
  • Comb through hair with wide tooth comb
  • place a conditioning cap over your hair and sit under a hooded dryer (or a bonnet) for 20- 30 minutes  OR wrap your hair around your head, then wrap saran wrap around your hair and sit underneath the dryer for 30- 45 minutes
  • rinse hair, then style as usual
 

To use as a Leave In Conditioner or Skin Conditioner

  • Omit Egg when mixing
